In todays date,one of the mostindespensible thing in our life is our smartphone. Specially new generation have great use of it . we have lot of videos , photos ,files in our smartphone. Sometimes you need to hide some secret photos or files ….then what to do?

           You will simply install an app that hide your photos videos . but if you don’t want to download any app then you have to follow some steps and its done .so let me show you how this can be done .

Step 1: open your file manager.

Open your file manager where all your files are stored.

Step 2: find the file you want to hide.

Find the file which you want to hide. For example , if you want to hide your camera photo then go to DCIM folder and search that image , or if you want to hide then go to WHATSAPP folder and find the file etc.

Step 3: Go to rename option.

Now select that file and click on rename button.

Step 4: simply change the extension

      Now every file has its own extension through which your system recognises type of file. For example  if you are using a video named “xyz” but its name will not be same in rename option its name will be “xyz.mp4” so .mp4 is extension of that file. Everything in front of last dot of file is an extension.

       So we are simply going tho change extension.

      Suppose I want to hide xyz.mp4 then I will simply create an abnormality in its extension like “xyz.m2p4” or “xyz.jsis” anything you want. So the extension is now changed. And then you can go to your gallery and click on that video that will not open . Just an inactive file will be seen. And now your file is hidden.

                                                                                                           

  

Step 5: make a special folder

       This is not necessary, it is just for your convenience so that you can get all your hidden files at once .It is preferred to move these files to any special folder you want.

        For example I create folder in file manager named “xyz”. In “xyz” I will move all my extension changed files so that I can get them back whenever I want.

Step 6: how to get files when you want to see them

                   So it’s very easy. just go to your file again and  change its extension to previous extension i.e. if I change “xyz.jsis” to xyz.mp4 then your video will gained back now this will open your hidden video .

              This can be done with every type of document and its easy too. Have a try on that …ok.
