Sometimes you like a video on internet and you start downloading the video. It downloads something about 55 percent then your network becomes weak and it fails to download. Ever it happened with you once? It always happens with me. After wasting lot of data it fails. But don’t worry I have a way. I will teach you that method by using which you can see downloaded video. If 40 percent video was downloaded you can see that 40 percent video by this method. So guys let’s get started.

To access unfinished downloaded video in smartphone, I have few steps for you to do. Lets see it stepwise.

STEP1: GO TO DOWNLOAD SECTION OF YOUR BROWSER

No matter from where you downloaded the video, and it failed you can always go to downloads section of your web browser. And most of the people use chrome browser. Then just go to three dots on top right corner of your screen and click downloads in browser then remember the name of failed download file. For convenience let us suppose it as “xyz” Now without wasting time lets move to next step.

STEP2: NOW GO TO FILE EXPLORER

Now lets move to next step. Now you have to open file manager in your smartphone. After that find “Download” folder. In That find the file which you want to see. Here “xyz”. select that file. Now if you open this file then it will not open and will be said unknown.

STEP3: RENAME THE FILE  

If you select that file and select rename option, then you can see that the name of file is not just “xyz” but it is “xyz.mp4.crdownload”.  This is because it is unfinished downloaded video. Now what we are exactly going to do that is we have to change file extension. If you don’t know what are file extensions then check out it here.

Now we have to rename file the from “xyz.mp4.crdownload” to “xyz.mp4” then click ok. And then your file will not be unknown file in your phone. Now when you click on the file opens as a video. And the downloaded portion of video will be yours. Ya it’s that simple.
